St. Ursula Academy Scrip Program General Policies

1.         In order to participate in the St. Ursula Academy Scrip Program, the registrant must be a St. Ursula Academy

Family, the St. Ursula Academy Scrip Program General Policies and Procedures must be read and understood and an account must be established.  Email is the official mode of communication for the programAn email address is required to participate.

2.      The percentage earned by each participating family will be held in the St. Ursula Academy Scrip Program’s account.  Any discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the St. Ursula Academy Scrip Program Administrators’ attention within 3 days.  Current and cumulative earnings from each order will be printed on the order invoice each week.  This will be your check against your statement.  Earnings will be credited to your tuition account.  Monies earned as of April 30 will be credited on May 1.

3.        This program is being offered to provide tuition assistance for students’ families for the St. Ursula Academy.

4.       Ninety percent (90%) of the earnings generated by a family will be retained by the family; the remaining ten percent (10%) will be retained by St. Ursula Academy to pay general Scrip expenses & provide funds for Scholarships at St. Ursula Academy.  The percentages on the order form are exactly the amount of earnings a family is generating.  For example, if Family 123 earns $2000 in tuition assistance, Family 123 will have earned a tuition credit of $1800 on May 1.

5.      ONE ORDER AND ONE CHECK OR CASH PER PARTICIPANT PER WEEK.  All orders must be accompanied by a check made payable to St. Ursula Academy Scrip Program.  This is NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE because participants are receiving dollar-for-dollar value.   If the check is for an incorrect amount, the order will be adjusted so that the order may be processed.  The check amount dictates the scrip ordered.  PAYMENTS TO THE ST. URSULA ACADEMY SCRIP PROGRAM are not to be considered, in any way, donations.

6.        Any participant writing a non-sufficient fund check will incur a fee of $40.00.  The fee must be paid to St. Ursula Academy Scrip Program before your next order will be processed.  If two NSF checks are received during the same fiscal year, your personal check writing privileges will be suspended indefinitely.  Cash or Money orders will then be required.  Checks will be deposited on Mondays at 10:00 a.m.

7.        The weekly scrip order deadline will be on Fridays.  (A) Order drop-off will be Friday between 7:30 a.m. to - 10:00 a.m.  (B) Order pick-up will be on the following Friday between 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Orders are to be brought to the bookstore counter.  After that time, orders will be processed and no new orders will be accepted for that week.  Make sure your order is thoroughly completed with name, phone number, email address, account number and scrip quantities totaled.  The deadline for submitting orders will always be Friday by 10:00 a.m., UNLESS NOTIFIED BY EMAIL.

8.        Filled orders will be available for pick-up on Friday after 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the St. Ursula Academy bookstore.  Should orders be ready for pick-up PRIOR TO Friday at 9:00 a.m., an email notification will be sent.  A signature will be required at pick-up.  Please check your order.  If an order is incorrect, please discuss with coordinators immediately to report the discrepancy.  If an order is removed from the St. Ursula Academy bookstore the participant is precluded from claiming the order is incorrect in any way.

9.   With a signed and dated permission form, your SUA daughter may pick-up your order.  Please have her check the order for accuracy.

10.       If you submit an order that is incorrect in any way, the St. Ursula Academy Scrip Program Administrator will adjust your order accordingly.  If your payment exceeds your order amount, the scrip coordinator will add to your order with scrip from a provider appearing on your current order.  If your check is under your order amount, scrip will be deleted from your order.  If we receive an order, but do not receive payment by the deadline, your order will pend until payment is received.  If we receive payment, but no order, your check will pend until we receive your order.  Emails will be sent in cases where orders are placed in pending.  Individual calls to families regarding order discrepancies will not be made.  Carefully submit your order online, making sure you receive a confirmation email.  This is verification that we received your order.

11.     Scrip certificates are the same as cash.  Neither the St. Ursula Academy Scrip Program nor the individual(s) volunteering for the St. Ursula Academy Scrip Program will accept or has any responsibility for lost, stolen, or misplaced scrip.

12.     The program will operate weekly throughout the year with minor deadline changes due to holidays and vacations.  Check your emails often for updated pick-up/drop-off schedules due to holidays and school vacations.

I have read, do understand, and will operate under the general policies of the St. Ursula Academy Scrip Program.
